Ekus Farms and Plantations Ltd was founded and incorporated in 2014 in Nigeria.The farms commenced operations in 2016.
The need to diversify Nigeria’s economy and achieve self sufficiency in Agriculture thereby reducing to the barest minimum food scarcity is the driving force of Ekus Farms and Plantations Ltd.
OVERVIEW
Currently we have over 250 hectares of palm Plantation of production age and about 50 hectares at various levels of maturity. We mill our palm fruits and produce palm oil which we currently sell at local markets within Nigeria. The local demands must be met before we can plan for export. Nigeria currently imports palm oil to support local production to meet customer demand. Recently the local market demand increased hence the need for greater output.

We seek to be a foremost Agricultural company of repute by large scale investment in crop production and animal husbandry.
Ekus Farms has also started local satellite fishery, a system whereby we empower local riverine people to grow fish in natural habitats and harvest organic fresh water fishes.
Ekus Farms has also heavily invested in cassava and maize production. The drive behind this is to meet local demand for staple cassava and maize based meals and to supply cassava and corn starch for the processing industries.
Our Farms
We have our palm Plantations located in Abam, Abia state where we also process and mill our palm oil. We have cassava and maize farms in Umuagwo Imo state and Abam Abia state. We are still expanding.
